Defining MMIWP Crisis, The Crisis and its significance to Data Collection in the East Coast. Introduction to Urban Indigenous Collective(UIC) Mission, Vision, Purpose, Introduction to UIC Leadership, Introduction to MMIWG2ST+ Programming: 3 Pillars; Introduction to the MMIWG2ST+ Taskforce, Urban Indian Health Institute Report, Sovereign Bodies Institute (SBI) response to UIH Report and UIC/SBI kinship community based on MMIWG2ST+ Programming. Taskforce Invitation for Indigenous MMIWP Survivors. Series 2 is on Root Causes of MMIWP TIME CHANGE to 12Noon- 1:30PM EST Series 2/4 will offer Description of event: MMIWG2ST+ NYC MMIP SUMMIT on Colonial Violence and MMIWP: Harms and Risks which make Indigenous People and Tribes vulnerable to MMIWP. How Genocidal Conditions and Inter and multigenerational Trauma create the dynamics that Target Indigenous People and create the conditions which lend to MMIWP Crisis. Introduction to MMIWG2ST+ Programming & the aim of Founding of the MMIWG2ST+ Taskforce; Colonial Violence: A Historical Perspective on Colonial Violence against the Chicoran Shakori Tribe; Colonial Violence impacts on Tribal Members and Community (Harms & Risks associated including Suicide, Substance Abuse, Mental Health, Generational Trauma) which in turn Create MMIWP Susceptibility; Define MMIWG2ST+ Crisis and highlight significance of Colonial Violence against Indigenous People as the Continual Making of MMIWP Crisis; Discussion with UIC Leadership on Risks associated with Colonial Violence which creates dynamics for MMIWP Susceptibilities; and a Focus Group Discussions on MMIWP in your Tribes/Organizations: Discussion with Audience about effects of inter and multigenerational trauma in their communities. Closing Commentary (Debrief) and Invitation to 3-4th Sessions. Series 3/4 will offer MMIWG2ST+ NYC MMIP SUMMIT MMIP Vigil Ceremony and Introduce MMIWG2ST+ Taskforce and Invitation to Survivors to participate in Taskforce; MMIWP Harms and Risks associated with Colonial Violence: Genocidal Violence Against Indigenous People; Protection against MMIWP: Cultivating Protective Factors in Indigenous People and Communities; The need for Health Equity, Social and Economic Justice to combat systemic conditions; The need for Culturally Responsive Support Services and associated legislative actions; Red Feather Alert System; Appropriate Data Collection (Calls to Action); Truth and Healing in the United States: Deb Halaand’s visits to Boarding Schools, Speaking to Survivors, Digging in the USA for Indigenous Children, Debrief & Closing Commentary and Invitation to 4th Session. Series 4 MMIWGT2S+ NYC MMIP SUMMIT: MMIWP East Coast Focus Group Containing the MMIWP Crisis will offer a Focus Group Forum on MMIWP in Lenapehoking, and welcomes contributions from associated Experts, Groups, Organizations, Tribes, and Tribal Members, and Indigenous People looking to learn more, and or contribute to the conversation about the real dynamics associated to MMIWP n our families and Communities. The objective is to gain a better understanding of MMIWP in Lenapehoking, and to identify and discuss the dynamics that greaten and lessen the associated risks. Expert Speakers on Gender Specific Violence MMIWG2ST+: DV, IPV, and Safety for Indigenous Women, Girls, 2 Spirits, and a focus group on MMIWP Crisis in Lenapehoking, and a debriefing and introduction to Kinship Community Resources.
