Dr. R.J. Laverne is the Manager of Education and Training for the Davey Tree Expert Company and teaches the Urban Forestry and Arboriculture classes at Michigan Technological University. He is a Board Certified Master Arborist, a Registered Consulting Arborist, and teaches the Tree Risk Assessment Qualification course for ISA and the Tree and Plant Appraisal Qualification course for ASCA. He is a novice woodworker and specializes in producing all sorts of sawdust.
