Wholesome Hearts Nature Program is a 4-week session for caregivers and children age 3-6, designed to encompass all the fundamentals of hands-on, natural learning in a beautifully fun and developmentally appropriate way. Join us as we unlock the mysteries of the seasons, explore the beauty around us and use our senses to deepen our appreciation and understanding of the natural world. Each week we will explore a different topic or lesson using art, science and literature to bring them all to life. All children will have the opportunity to learn, explore, investigate and handcraft trinkets or treasures to take home each week. The weekly themes include: The Mystery of Spring, Spring Blossoms, Clouds and Bird Nests. All lessons, topics and activities are centered around the whole child, and are intended to nurture curiosity, inspire imagination and cultivate creativity. This class is taught by our program partner Andrea LaRegina, founder of Wholesome Hearts Nature Program. Andrea is extremely passionate about Early Childhood Education and takes great joy in bringing learning to life. She uses nature, children's books and sensory exploration as her guide, and formulates seasonal lessons for both children and caregivers to enjoy. Andrea has previously taught her wonderful Pre-K program at Weis, and also brings her program to local libraries. Ages: 3-6. EACH child attending must be registered, and be between 3-6 years oldThursday dates: May 18, 25, Jun 1, 8Time: 10:00-11:30amClass is rain or shine; please dress for all weather. In the case of severe weather, we will move to one of our indoor spacesAll materials included$150 per child (no charge for caregiver)Full refunds will be issued for cancellation requests received at least two weeks before the first class.
