BEGINNINGS for Parents of Children Who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing is hosting a FREE family day retreat full of learning, sharing, and fun! Parents and caregivers will have the opportunity to network with other families while their children meet new friends, do arts and crafts, and enjoy time playing on the playground. BEGINNINGS will provide childcare, snacks, beverages, and lunch for all participants! Our program will include a guest speaker from The Council for Children's Rights presenting “Special Education Advocacy in Light of the COVID-19 Pandemic” and a guest speaker from New Leaf Behavioral Health presenting “Advocacy through the Emotional Journey.” Interpreters will be made available upon request. BEGINNINGS para padres de niños sordos o con problemas del oído organiza un retiro familiar GRATIS de un día de duración para aprender, compartir y divertirse.
