Assist the Goal is a local 501(c)3 which provides financial assistance, to our local youth, to play the sport of lacrosse. ATG also works to bring more awareness and more opportunities for the growth of lacrosse in our community. Join TrueLKN and Outlaws lacrosse parents, players and coaches in support Assist the Goal on Sunday, April 30th at Smithville Park, Cornelius from 11-1p. Whether you know the game or not, our Family Fun day will be an afternoon of fun for the entire family. For just $20 per family, you can enjoy a lacrosse game with your child in a Parent vs. Kid game and then watch some advanced players play against TrueLKN coaches. Plus we will have skills lessons for our youngest lacrosse players & those new to the sport. Even if you don't have a child that currently plays lacrosse, this is a great opportunity to introduce them to the sport. Plus, there will be food trucks, a dunk tank, lacrosse skills contests & prizes, raffle items, kids activities and so much more. It promises to be a great afternoon filled with loads of family fun, all while supporting a great cause. *If you attended last year's event, please bring your Dad Bods t-shirt. We will have some at the field available for purchase as well. Game & Ticket Information: please choose your ticket based on the game your child qualifies for:Parents vs. Kids Game: 11-12pm. Kids, grades 3-6 will play against a parent, relative or older sibling. Advanced Players vs. TrueLKN Coaches: 12-1pm. Kids, grades 7 & 8 will play against our TrueLKN Coaching Staff. Kids K-2 and those new to the sport, can participate in a few skill challenges with our True Outlaw players and coaches throughout the afternoon. ** If you do not wish to participate in one of the above and simply want to attend & learn more about our organization, please choose the general admission ticket or you can make a donation thru venmo @assitthegoal
