Jobana Semones is a Certified Credit Union Counselor and Community Development Executive over the youth program at Piedmont Advantage Credit Union.
Jobana is the primary facilitator for Money Y-Zer, the PACU Youth Program's financial learning series where children and teens in grades k-12 learn how and why to save; budget, manage and invest money; and avoid frauds, scams and predatory lending practices in the future. She is passionate about empowering our youth with the financial know-how to give them the confidence they need to make informed decisions throughout their lifetime.
About the Activity:Children will learn how to divide their money into three categories, “Save, Spend, Give,” with a fun, interactive activity that both you and your children will enjoy. The activity involves decorating a spend, save, and give jar, which will help your child learn how to allocate their money into different categories.
As children decorate and personalize their jars, Jobana will discuss tips to help parents teach basic age-appropriate money principles that will help set a healthy foundation for their future financial success.
**Light snacks and refreshments will be provided to attendees and parents/guardians.
