Description

Learn the Technique of Blending and More for a Beautiful Beach/Sunset Scene or an Abstract. April 18, 2023 HoB Brewing Company Blending - how do you do it? Glazes - what are they? Texture - how can you use this now? What do all of these mean and how do you use them in your paintings? Get here early, pick your spot snd pick up your choice of beverage from the fully stocked house. Grab your paint brush and dive in. In this 3 hour class we will get back to some basic basics. We will learn and practice blending paints on and off your canvas. You will get to practice with glazes and using medium to create glazes with any paint. You will learn how to get texture in your painting right now and how to use texture to prep your canvas for future painting. On one canvas we will concentrate on blending. While that is drying for a second layer, we will move to canvas 2 where will concentrate on how to use the texture. You can prep this 2nd canvas for a later painting or add color to make an abstract painting right then and there. ALSO, bring a previous painting to practice with glazes. Glazes need to be done on dry paintings. Bring your own supplies or I can supply them. This won’t be your normal paint and sip class. The purpose of this class is to learn/practice some basic techniques to have a good foundation make your paintings even better. These are techniques I wish I knew when was beginning my painting journey.
