Calling All Artists, Farmers and Crafts Persons! Join us for our first annual Whatcom Barter Gathering! Organized by Raven's Roots Naturalist School and Located at the beautiful Rising Moon Meadows! Barter Circle, Skill Share Live Music/ Open Mic! This is an outdoor, family friendly, drug free event. Come barter your surplus of handmade, homegrown awesomeness. Network with local community, share and learn a skill, and bring a picnic while we celebrate community resiliency and sovereignty!! Bring your own booth/table or blanket to barter your goods. If you are interested in sharing a skill or playing live music contact Gabe and Reisha at [email protected] we will get you on the line up. $10 required donation for ages 18 and up, kids free. This helps pay for event space, all extra money generated will be donated to the WomansCare Shelter in Bellingham. Parking is limited to 80 cars- carpooling is encouraged. This is a community run event, and we need help making sure everything runs smoothly, we need helpers who can dedicate some time with the following: Parking crew Info booth Take down/set up/ clean up. (This is a pack it in pack it out event) Kids games and crafts - parents you are responsible for your children, if all parents bring something fun to share, we can all help with this.
