This event is free and open to anyone sixteen (16) years or older, but registration is required by May 4, 2023. Library doors lock at 6:00 p.m. and the program, will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER AFTER 6:00 P.M. You may leave the library at any time, but re-entry will not be permitted.
You may attend presentations in the meeting room, learn how to use genealogy databases and library resources to research your family or just spend a quiet evening researching your family history on your own.
OAAGHG’s 2023 Lock-In will feature the Oberlin Big Read Book "HOMEGOING" by Yaa Nygasi. If you haven't read it, you still have until May 5 to get it done. You will not regret it. During the Lock-In you will have an opportunity to discuss the book and participate in a "Homegoing" Scavenger Hunt in the Library.
You may register to attend in-person or virtually. Door prizes and supper are provided in-person only. However, if you have dietary restrictions, please feel free to bring your own food.
