This event is being held as the official launch to the self-help book, “Leap Off the Ladder: From Corporate Life to Pursuing Your Own Path” by author Morgan Chavis. The event will begin at 3PM on Saturday, April 22nd at the Churchland Library in Portsmouth. Physical copies of Leap Off the Ladder will be available for purchase as well as eBook downloads. In addition to book signing, Morgan Chavis will be speaking about her inspiration to writing the book and sharing a short perosnal favorite reading selection from Leap Off the Ladder. Author Bio Morgan Chavis is a proud native of Detroit, Hampton University alumna, wife and mother. Morgan opened the doors at Lusso Salon, a luxury hair salon in Portsmouth, Virginia while simultaneously climbing the corporate ladder. After two years juggling as the CEO of Lusso Brands and a corporate Senior Manager she called it quits and put all bets on herself as a full time entrepreneur!
