The Trek EnduRoad Series is designed as an introduction to competitive road cycling. The aim is to allow new riders an opportunity to engage in group riding in a low stakes (and SUPER FUN) scenario, while at the same time getting some of their competitive beans out. The ride will leave Trek Blacksburg as a group and proceed on that week's route to the first designated segment. At the first segment, the ride will pause and allow riders to begin the segment starting with the slowest rider in intervals of 30 seconds. Riders will regroup at the end of the segment and continue on the route to the next segment. Procedure repeats. After the ride, we will review times for all segments on that route and rank each rider. Riders awarded points to the top 10 riders for each segment BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! At the end of the 8 week series, prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. There will be additional prizes awarded at random, so everyone has a chance to win! **Participation requires the following** 1) Join the Trek Bicycle Blacksburg Strava Club 2) Ride must be saved as a public ride
