On Saturday evening May 20th the Monroe Civic Center Arena will be transferred into a fun party atmosphere with pork themed food served by local chefs. Bid on silent auction items as you nosh & responsibly imbue while enjoying the party. LA Jazz will kick off the evening's festivities; at 8pm Mr. Taylormade and the Taylormade Band will take the stage. So put on your dancing shoes, boots or sandals; dress up that casual wear with your pearls and come enjoy a "Louisiana Saturday night" all while supporting your local orchestra.Limited VIP Tickets with reserved table seating and early entrance - $75 per individual / $135 per couple. General Admission - $60 through May 13th / $75 May 14th-May 20th. Food, beer, wine and soft drinks included in ticket price - food provided by Heritage Catering (Chef Cory Bahr), JAQ's Craft Smokehouse (Tracy Carter), BroHow BBQ (Monte Browhow) and RNL's Cookery Corner from Shreveport (Chef Niematulai DiGrazia). A silent auction will be held during the event. All Pork & Pearls proceeds benefit the Monroe Symphony Orchestra (a 501c3 organization) and their 2023-24 concert season including educational concerts for local schools.
