Join us for this year's Festival of Magic, a whimsical celebration of all things wizarding and magical! The Festival of Magic is an enchanting event that brings together wizards, witches and muggles from all over the region. This year's festival is set to be bigger and better than ever, with Running Vines Winery and Aftermath Cidery taking center stage. Each guest will be given a "carouser's map" that visually resembles the mischievous map we all know and love. The map includes the festival schedule, rules and regulations, and a guide to all the participating businesses. Stop at all the locations to get your map stamped or do the assigned photo and earn a prize! At the festival, you'll have the chance to explore Nocturn Alley, a magical marketplace filled with a variety of vendors offering all sorts of mystical wares. Check out KK's Magical Menagerie and other shops to find the perfect wand, robe, or potion to make your wizarding dreams come true. For those feeling brave, head to the Potions Making Class, led by Professor Ambrosius Flint and his team from Sawdust and Splatters. For an additional fee, you'll get hands-on instructions on how to create your very own potion. Animal lovers won't want to miss the rescued owls from Humane Indiana, who will be on hand for guests to view, learn about, and interact with. A portion of the proceeds from festival tickets will be donated to support Humane Indiana's important work. And don't forget about the fortune teller, who will be offering tarot card readings for an extra fee. Who knows what the future holds? What time does this all take place? Aftermath will host Professor Bumblebrew's Hullabaloo and Running Vines will be host to the Festival Of Magic Crawl! Please note that for potions containing alcohol, a valid government ID is required. While the festival is open to all ages, you must have a ticket to participate, with the exception of children under 2 years old. Don't miss out on this magical event! Come dressed in your best wizarding attire and get ready to immerse yourself in the enchanting world that is our festival of magic. Included in your ticket price: guaranteed admission (adult or child), Carouser's Map, and Completion Prizes. Please note: separate tickets are needed for each day. This is a MULTI-SITE event, please be prepared for walking and driving between 2 of the main locations. Come and experience the excitement and mystery of Nocturn Alley - a must-visit destination for any witch, wizard, squib, or muggle! *List Of Vendors Coming Soon* Festival Of Magic Pub CrawlOn Saturday, July 29th, Running Vines Winery will host a Hogwarts House themed pub crawl, featuring stops at Flannery's Tavern, 219 Taproom, Duneland Distillery, and Running Vines Winery. The crawl will run from 7 PM to 11 PM, with four rotations each lasting approximately an hour. Tickets will be sold by Hogwarts house and guests will rotate with their designated house during the crawl. Make sure to purchase a ticket associated with the house you want to be in! Check-in will occur from 6 PM to 7 PM at Running Vines, where guests will receive a map, pint glass, and wristband. ID checks will be performed at check-in. Ticket Start Locations are designed to help control the traffic flow of the event. You do not need a separate ticket for each location. Once you check-in at your chosen location, you can enjoy all the activities until the end of the day.Are there any age restrictions to enter the event? The event is open to all ages, but for potions that contain alcohol, a valid ID is required to verify your age. No exceptions will be made. Due to the use of spells and charms by wizards and witches, this policy will be strictly enforced. Please ensure that your government ID is valid and not expired.What are my options for parking and transportation? Parking is available in the downtown business district, but please be aware that you may have to walk to your destinations. Please be considerate of the non-magical people (muggles) in town.How can I contact the organizer if I have questions? No, your ticket is valid only for the specific date that you have selected, not for the entire weekend. You will have ample time to complete your magical journey within the day.Do I need to bring a printed ticket to the event? You can either bring a printed ticket or use a mobile ticket. Once your ticket is scanned, it will not be valid for scanning again. Therefore, please ensure that you do not lose the magical passport that we provide you at the time of check-in.Where is the event located? This is a co-located event, and you will need to visit both Running Vines Winery in Chesterton and Aftermath Cidery in Valparaiso to complete the map. You do not need separate tickets for both locations. Simply choose your start location and time, and enjoy the festivities for the day.Does my child need a ticket? Yes, all children require a ticket unless they are under the age of 2. Children under 2 years old will not receive their own passport. You need to have a ticket to get passports or prizes.Will any portion of the ticket sales be donated to a charity? Yes, a percentage of the ticket sales will be donated to Humane Indiana Wildlife.
