The Lake County Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) is proud to offer our 1st CIT training to law enforcement agencies across Lake County Indiana.
This training is provided to law enforcement officers throughout Lake County Indiana in the hopes of providing resources and information in regard to handling mental health crisis throughout our community. We will focus on several core areas including: mental health disorders, youth/adolescents, veterans/military, legal aspects, etc.
After the completion of this training the participants will receive accreditations from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and will be official CIT trained officers for their agencies.
Training dates are as follows:
Monday May 15th, 8am -5pm
Tuesday May 16th, 8am -5pm
Wednesday May 17th, 8am -5pm
Thursday May 18th, 8am -5pm
Friday May 19th, 8am -5pm
A small breakfast and lunch will be served each day.
