DescriptionExplore some classic recipes and the discover local secrets of regional Mexican cooking. You'll perfect your techniques as you practice marinating and grilling pork with a citrus marinade; making three traditional taco garnishes; roasting poblano peppers for inclusion in a delicious rice dish; and making a traditional sandwich cookie. Then, you'll sit down to enjoy a feast filled with the flavors of Mexico.
For ages 18 & up. 21 or older? You'll enjoy a glass of wine paired with your meal.
You will be cooking from Pati Jinich's newest cookbook, Treasures of the Mexican Table, and will take a copy with you as class ends. (Chef Jinich will not be in class.)
