Certification in Mental Health First Aid will be attained upon completion of this training. **This is a "blended" course. A 2-hour self-paced training is required to be completed prior to the in-person class. All of the materials and links will be provided to you.You will learn: -The prevalence of mental illness in the U.S. and the emotional and economic cost. -The potential warning signs and risk factors for mental health challenges and crisis. -A 5-step action plan to help an individual in crisis connect to professional care. -Resources available to help someone with a mental health problem.
