Join members and sponsors of AIA Fort Wayne for a building tour of the expansion project at the Fort Wayne Airport. The project scope includes relocating all airline gates and passenger boarding bridges to the second level, expansion of the TSA security checkpoint area; relocating the airport restaurant and creating a new frequent flyer lounge. Work will also include new and improved public areas including additional restrooms, new meeter and greeter space, expanded circulation areas and vertical transportation. The East Terminal Expansion project will also see a continuation of FWA’s commitment to accessibility with the extension of the airport’s new cane trail, adding additional accessible counter spaces, and more. Thanks to Ryan M. Bauer, C.M., ACE, Airport Operations Supervisor, Fort Wayne--Allen County Airport Authority, for making this tour possible. This program has been approved for 1.0 AIA LU. Space is limited to 25 attendees so please register ASAP! Please note -- Important Security Info – Please, do not bring any TSA prohibited items with you on the tour. Essentially, if you wouldn’t be allowed to take it on a flight you cannot take it with you on the tour. If you’re not sure about an item, please, do not bring it. It’s located near the TSA CheckpointWear comfortable closed toe shoes. We’ll be walking through the remaining work areas.The tour will last approximately 45 minutes.Immediately following the tour a Happy Hour will take place at Chapman's Brewing Company located at the FW Airport.
