Mid-April is a spectacular time to bird this park with a nice overlap of wintering and breeding birds, as well as the many resident species present. Meet in the parking lot on Arastradero Road. Bring layers, sunscreen, and water for an easy to moderate hike of 2-3 miles. Restrooms available in the parking lot. Directions: From Highway 280, take exit 20 for Page Mill Road toward Palo Alto/Arastradero Road. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Arastradero Road/Los Altos Hills. Turn left at Page Mill Road. Turn right at Arastradero Road. The preserve parking lot is located at 1530 Arastradero Road, 1/4 mile north of Page Mill Road. Leader Donna Pomeroy email [email protected].
