Please join us for our first annual Cornhole and Crawfish event hosted by the BEAR Heart Gallery Associates. The Heart Gallery Associates are a newly formed young professional group in connection with BEAR Houston whose been serving the Houston community for over 25 years. BEAR is the only 501(c)(3) providing hope and help to at-risk and CPS involved children and their caretakers in the greater Houston area. BEAR’s Heart Gallery Houston program is an art exhibit and community education/outreach initiative featuring children who are waiting for adoption. We work to find forever families for children through direct recruitment opportunities and education of foster and adoptive families. At the core of this outreach is simply a picture. But there is nothing simple about it; our volunteer photographers truly capture a child’s spirit in every shot. These pictures speak louder than words, they say, “I’m here and I am special.” CLICK HERE to register a cornhole team! Cornhole tournament registrants receive 3lbs of Crawfish/person + SPORTSKIND jersey, wear the SPORTSKIND jersey at the event and receive 20% off your bar tab during the tournament (excluding existing drink specials). General admission tickets are $30 (good for 3lbs of crawfish, potatoes, corn and sausage) a piece if you’d rather come out and support friends and family! Whether you are competing with a cornhole team or attending as a spectator, be prepared to eat crawfish, check out the silent auction, and enjoy some live music… all to benefit a fantastic charity supporting children within CPS in the Greater Houston area. Additional Cornhole Tournament Information (Cornhole Tournament Powered by SPORTSKIND) This tournament is open to all skill levels and anyone 18+. The competition is set to friendly. Tournament format is Round Robin followed by single elimination bracket. Join as a Team Captain and fill your team’ roster (2 players per team) Join solo as a Free Agent and we’ll place you on a team. Tournament Date: Sunday, 4/16/2023 Location: Memorial Trail Ice House Champions will receive championship prizes, and 2 $50 gift cards courtesy of Memorial Trail Ice House!
