HOLLYWOOD SHORTSFEST is a GOLD FilmFreeway competition with an Annual Live Event to be celebrated in the heart of Hollywood. We would be more than glad if you were able to join us at our Live Event that will be held in the vibrant city of Hollywood next April 14, 15 & 16th, 2023 at the prestigious ‘The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute’ located at 7936 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, California, in the main theater of the studio: the Marilyn Monroe Theatre. More than 75 international films will be part of our live event, creating exciting networking opportunities during our cocktail, where you can meet actors, directors, cinematographers, and distribution companies. We will be sending you the final line up soon. Our line up includes some of the best shorts of the year: Crimson Ties by Francesca Kingsland Scorsese (USA) Decent People by Maxime Roy. Cesar 2022 Nominee (France) Hardboiled by Peter Sluszka. He is an award-winning director with strong roots in stop motion and over 20 years of perfecting his craft. Official Selection Tribeca Film Festival (USA) Period Drama by Anushka Tina Nair, Lauryn Anthony. 2022 Student Academy Award Finalist (USA) Starfuckers by Antonio Marziale. Antonio Marziale was born in London, England and grew up in Switzerland. He graduated with a BFA in acting from Carnegie Mellon University and has starred in the Netflix original movie Alex Strangelove, Altered Carbon (Netflix), and is also attached to an upcoming DC universe / Netflix TV show. 2022 Sundance and Berlinale Nominee (USA) King Max by Adèle Vincenti-Crasson.
