Join us in celebrating the successful completion of the CSUDH City of Carson Small Business Growth Academy by its second cohort. This celebration will include a showcase of the participating small businesses from the City of Carson and a brief presentation by each on how they plan to grow from the program. Dignitaries and leaders from the City of Carson and CSUDH will be in attendance and speaking. A warm breakfast and a healthy dose of fun, energy, and excitement will be served. Tentative Agenda: 7:30 Breakfast / Networking 8:15 Campus welcome by David Ochi, Introduces Dr. Wilson 8:18 Greetings from the University by Dr. Lynda Wilson, Introduces the Mayor of Carson 8:20 Remarks by City of Carson official(s) - Introduction of Mayor Davis-Holmes, Mayor Davis-Holmes introduces councilmembers to the podium 8:40 Review of the program – David Ochi 8:45 90-second presentations and Q&A by participating companies 9:25 Closing remarks by David Ochi 9:30 Group Photo 9:35 Networking and refreshments 10:00 Event Conclusion Directions and Parking A campus map and directions to the campus can be found at https://www.csudh.edu/visit-us/campus-map-directions/. The event will take place in the Innovation and Instruction (I&I) Building Banquet Hall (Room 1300) on the first floor. Please park in Lot 2. Parking permit dispensing machines are located in Lot 2 in the southwest corner under shelter and in the northeast corner under shelter near the stairway. Dispensers will accept currency, coins, and credit/debit cards.
