Join us on Friday, April 21st, 2023, from 7:00pm-9:00pm CST for our Awards Celebration. Our theme this year is, Roots in the City: Deepening Connections for Student Success. We will honor the following program partners: · Outstanding Internship Site: Breakthrough Urban Ministries · Excellence in Supervision: Dave Hamilton, Streetwise · Distinguished Alumni: Bill Lydens ’80, Hope College · Excellence in Collaboration: Chicago Semester Founders/Policy Board Members- Amy Quincey (Hope College), Adam Adams (Dordt University), Maria Hodapp (Trinity Christian College), Cynthia Slagter (Calvin University), Jess Klyn (Central College), Kendall Stanislav (Northwestern College). · Lifetime Achievement Award: Don DeGraaf – Senior Director of Educational Programs, Council of Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) Our 2023 Awards Celebration will be held in-person at Hatch 41 in the Bronzeville neighborhood of Chicago. Chicago Semester works to equip college students to pursue their vocational callings and emerge as professionals as they faithfully engage in God’s ongoing work in the city.
