Fox Valley invites the community to its butterfly-themed Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 22nd, at 10 a.m. in Fox Yard (weather permitting). Fox Yard is the green space located outside of mall entrance #2 between Classy Nails and Lumen Fox Valley Apartments.  Families are encouraged to wear their “butterfly best” for this exciting event which kicks off with a 45-minute performance from the popular Miss Jamie and The Farmhands Band which encourages children to sing, dance, laugh and learn about butterflies and the environment; following the concert, at 11 a.m., Miss Jaime will lead a live butterfly release. Registered children under the age of 13 will receive a goodie bag at check-in that includes one package of “Save the Monarchs” seeds to plant at home and a mini butterfly zoo to grow their own live butterflies (one per child ticket, while supplies last). Only get tickets for children under 13 years - ONE ticket per child. NO TICKET NEEDED FOR ADULTS. Face painting and balloon twisting will complete the fun at this outdoor springtime event. The concert area is grass, and families are encouraged to bring their own portable folding chairs or blankets. This event is free of charge and open to the public.
