The whole world knows that High Point is the place for furniture, but did you know that High Point was also home of some of the oldest factories of the finest nainsook underwear, and a huge silk mill? The High Point Historical Society will host Dr. Doris H. Kincade and Dr. Elizabeth H. Hull as they discuss NC textiles and apparel and the history of these industries. This event is FREE and open to the public.
