Despite an increased focus on diversity, equity and inclusion within companies, multiple research shows that the experiences of women and other minorities have not improved in the last few years, and they’re more likely to experience micro aggressions. One barrier on the path towards progress may be that individual employees are underestimating their own power when it comes to creating real culture change.
