Please join us on the steps of the Petaluma Museum for the exciting kickoff of Petaluma's celebration of National Historic Preservation Month, May 2023! You will learn about the events planned for the month of May, and Vice Mayor Janice Cader Thompson will officially proclaim May 2023 as Historic Preservation Month in the City of Petaluma. The Petalumans of Yesteryear will greet and host the public. Our City's Celebration of Historical Preservation is facilitated by the Petaluma Historical Library & Museum in collaboration with the City of Petaluma (including the Historical & Cultural Preservation Committee), the Petalujma History Room at the Sonoma County Library, and the Petaluma Adobe State Historic Park. (you are not required to have a ticket to attend -- just show up!) Petaluma has much to be proud of!
