Join handlebars with us on Sunday, April 23 for a ride to 626 Golden Streets: Heart of the Foothills, an all-day celebration of active mobility hosted by ActiveSGV. The event closes a 5-mile stretch of road from San Dimas to Claremont to all cars, and has 4 event hubs along its length. We’ll meet at the APU Metro Station at 9:00am to make announcements, and roll at 9:30. Our destination is the western end of the festival which is at San Dimas City Hall. Bring water, money for lunch/snacks, and an appetite for outdoor fun. We’ll regroup at San Dimas City Hall around 2:00pm for the return ride. Please note you MUST sign a waiver when you arrive. Helmets are required by state law for anyone under 18 and recommended for all ages. No training wheels permitted. Children riding on their own should remain with parents at all times, have experience riding with a group, and be able to average 12 mph.
