This is a 4.2-mile out-and-back trail near Kings Mountain, North Carolina. Generally considered a moderately challenging route. This is a very popular area for hiking and rock climbing, so we will get an early start to ensure parking is available. When: Friday, May 5th, 2023 at 8:00 am. We will meet in front of the restrooms. I will have a 52HikeChallenge T-Shirt on. Skill Level: The Pinnacle Trail is 4.2 miles out-and-back and considered moderately challenging. There are stairs on this trail. The elevation gain is 777 ft. Be sure to wear adequate clothing and sunscreen and bring at least 3L of water, along with snacks and electrolytes. As alway, pack your 10 essentials for safety reasons!
