"Life Hacks for DADS" is an open forum where everyone gets to share, listen, and learn. For more than 27 years, Judge LeRoy Burke III led the charge to transform the lives of juveniles in his community. As a presiding judge for Chatham County Juvenile Court, now retired, he guided and affected the lives of juveniles that came before his bench. His goal: to keep them from making repeat visits to his courtroom. By leveraging his experience as a parole officer and attorney for juvenile offenders, Judge Burke realized that effective prevention and early intervention could change the trajectory of the lives of an entire population of 12- to 17-year-olds.
