Guests will participate in a first class viewing of one of the longest running and most popular sporting events while drinking Mint Juleps and savory hors d'oeuvre. Enjoy a hosted bar while participating in sporting lawn games, live music and prize raffle — all while enjoying views of the San Francisco Bay.
Traditional Derby attire is strongly encouraged and prizes will be awarded for best dressed and most creative to those who best capture the theme for the day.

Who are The Guardsmen?
Every year The Guardsmen changes lives across the Bay Area by sending more than 2,500 disadvantaged youth to outdoor education programs and providing scholarships for more than 250 students to attend private schools.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Guests must be 21 or older to purchase tickets; both tickets and valid ID's are required at the door for check-in - no exceptions.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There is limited parking in The General's Mansion, please ride share if possible.
What is the refund policy?
As we are a charity, tickets are non-refundable, however, you may transfer them using Eventbrite to a friend.
What's The Guardsmen's IRS status and the Fair Market Value of the event?
The Guardsmen is a registered 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation. In exchange for this ticket purchase and/or donation, you will receive goods and services of open bar and light snacks valued at $76.04 (inclusive of SF sales tax) for GA, and $0 for donations.
