Orange County Head Start is hosting a transition to kindergarten conference, for parents/families of children with special needs; however, all are welcome. This conference is specifically for families enrolled in the program. Breakfast and lunch will be served, while parents receive information on moving forward to Orange County Public Schools. Speakers will address questions, concerns and stereotypes in relation to children with special needs in the areas of speech and language development, fine and gross motor development, social and emotional development, cognitive development, IEPs, and any other development delays. A special guest will also demonstrate story telling, and what reading to your child does for them, and even YOU!
