The Teen Mental Initiative (TMHI) is a Wholistic Health Alliance* (WHA) Youth Brigade project. It is a student-led initiative dedicated to raising awareness on the subject of teenagers’ mental health issues and sharing resources to mitigate the occurrence of those issues. The initiative is led by students and involves students. Wholistic Health Alliance is a 501(c)3 nationally launched non-profit organization with the vision of providing a platform for holistic health practitioners to come together under one umbrella, fostering collaborations, building stronger networks and enabling greater synergy with the community. The focus will be on teen mental health issues such as anxiety, stress and depression and how parents and teens can recognize and find resources to help with symptoms of mental health. Among other things, the event will feature an interactive panel with mental health experts. The event will be streamed Live and will be viewable across the nation.
