Come and participate in a comprehensive 2-day training designed to equip providers with the essential skills and knowledge necessary for navigating and de-escalating problem behavior in their clients. Throughout the training, you will learn how to effectively utilize seven tools that have been proven to be highly effective in managing difficult behaviors. These tools include Maximizing Relationships, Strengthening Behavior, Pivot Praise, Non-Reactive Response, Interrupt and Redirect, Setting Expectations, and the Written Contract.
By the end of the training, you will have gained a deep understanding of how to implement these tools in your role and will be able to confidently handle even the most challenging behavior situations. You will also have the opportunity to practice these skills through a series of interactive exercises and role-playing scenarios, which will allow you to apply your learning in a safe and supportive environment.
