Ready to move beyond basic of rifle shooting? Shooting at distances from 100 to 600 yards will improve your marksmanship and teach you to shoot with greater precision. This two day course focuses on long range marksmanship, rifle/scope/ammunition characteristics, understanding MOA and MIL scopes, compensating for a wind component, rifle and scope maintenance, and more. You’ll also learn about choosing the optimal components for an effective setup, including optics, bipods, meters, and accessories. Day-1 will present issues and problems that must be addressed in order to successfully shoot at longer distances. Day-2 will be spent at the shooting range, focusing on ensuring the rifle is properly configured for medium-distance shooting and correctly zeroed at 100-yds. Then we’ll move to the 600-yd range to refine your shooting skills over distance. The 14-16-hr. course includes classroom presentation, initial rifle setup, and long distance shooting at a local range. Additional one-on-one marksmanship training is available if personalized assistance is desired. Strict firearms safety protocols will be observed at all times.
