While I am a huge fan of a British tea, the French have managed to create their own interpretation of tea time and is something you can often experience at fancy hotels and restaurants. And while the French will most likely offer tea, they will also serve a very creamy hot chocolate and of course champagne. These will be accompanied with delicious pastries. Throughout this class, we will learn how to execute a traditional Madeleine, a Financier, a Tuile and a Cannele. The Madeleine is probably the most famous of them all considering it has been around since the 19th century. The Financier is a small almond cake that is light and moist with a crisp shell. The Tuile is a personal favorite due to its buttery taste, ill say no more. And lastly, the Cannele de Bordeaux is a custard cake baked in a very specific little mold. This class is perfect for those who love to host or just love delicious pastries for that matter!
