Come out and you will learn from mtn bikers in the community how to do everything from changing a flat tire, to how and what to pack for a ride. We will look over your bike and make suggestions/show you how and where to tighten up bolts. We will give suggestions on bike and tire choice, etc. There will be some info on e-bikes, different bike racks, and traveling with your bike. There will be information on local bike shops, meetup groups, trails, and apps to help you navigate your way in the woods. Bring your bike if you have one and we can help either way! I am doing this fundraiser because I love mtn biking and animals. I want more people to be able to get out on a trail with enough knowledge to make it possible! There are meetup rides that are also super helpful but you want to show up to a ride with a bike that works and appriptiate riding gear This fundraiser is volunteer ran. We are not professionals by trade, however plently of us have enough knowledge and experience to help get you on the right path. This is donation based, so please bring cash. All proceeds will go to Animal Haven in Asheville. Animal Haven of Asheville is a place where lost and abandoned animals can find food and shelter from the cruelties of life. Hoping to get one or two bike shops involved as well! There will be a raffle, music, food and drinks at La Tapa in Black Mountain! This restaurant is amazing, tacos are to die for. Please join to learn, eat, socialize, or help with this Fundraiser that will take place on Earth Day!!! Parking will have to be scattered around the town of Black Mountain, there are churches, schools, parks, etc to park at! The town is super cute if you have never been!
