With over 50 vehicles to display, we are honored to have you join us for the opening ceremony. Jackie Jouret will be joined by BMW Classic historian Fred Jakobs, author of the official two-volume history, BMW Motorcycles from Munich, 1923 to 1969, and BMW Motorcycles from Berlin, 1969-1999, plus several equally knowledgeable guest speakers you’ll want to meet. BMW Motorcycles: A Century of Innovation features 53 motorcycles and motorcycle-engined cars, each with a story to tell about BMW’s 100-year history as a motorcycle manufacturer. The bikes on display include a fine selection of prewar singles and boxer twins, postwar street and racing machines including the world championship-winning Fath Kneeler, and Reg Pridmore’s AMA Superbike championship-winning R 90 S, plus a world-traveling R 80 G/S and other assorted rarities from the 100-year span of BMW Motorcycle history. We can’t wait to share these bikes and cars with you, and to tell you their stories! As the author of BMW Motorcycles: A Century of Innovation, Jackie will also be available to sign copies of the book, which you can purchase here in Eventbrite before it is available to the public. ***Each ticket purchased for the Opening Gala on Thursday night will include entrance to the Vintage Open House the next day, Friday May 19, 2023.
