"Full Contact Comedy!" is a unique combination of Stand-Up Comedy, Improv Comedy and Audience Involved Sketch Comedy rolled into 1 Outrageous Night of Fun! This show is being videotaped by Action Media as part of a new pilot for the television series "Comic Invasion!" The weekly series will follow different comedians that land in a different small town in the Heartland each week and taste the local flavor, character and downhome charm that makes each town special! Every episode concludes with the comics performing at a special nearby venue. This first and pilot episode will feature segments with the comedians having fun with the locals at "Yellin Helen's" Ice Cream Shop in DIx, "Geo's Gas Station Lounge" in MtVernon, the Famous Gallows in Benton where Charlie Birger met his maker and a stop at "Bubba Too's" in Nason for their annual Cajun Fest among other locations leading up to their performance that Saturday Night April 15th at the beautiful Granada Theater in Mt. Vernon! Dinner from UpTown Steakhouse will be available as well and General Admission tickets are $18, VIP Tickets $28 and the optional Prime Rib and Pasta Bar and more plated dinner for $49.
