Where are the Champions? Hunt for the Largest Trees in Palm Beach County

FREE EVENT - Florida Urban Forestry Council has a program to record the largest trees by species in the state of Florida. Join us in our hunt for the champions of Palm Beach County. Come and learn about the National Champion Tree program, rules for submitting, and how to measure tree size properly. We will be using INaturalist to record tree size information. Approximately 1 mile round trip on mixed surfaces. Please bring your water, appropriate clothing (hat, hiking shoes/boots, long-sleeved shirts and pants for bugs) and bug spray. Restroom facilities are not available at this site. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
