Herzing University Madison and The Women’s Center will host a Human Trafficking Lunch and Learn on Monday, April 17, from 12:00-1:00 PM CT. Krystal Chase, Director of Advocacy & Support Services at The Women’s Center, will present on human trafficking in-depth. After this presentation, participants will be able to: Describe or define various types of human traffickingArticulate the importance of force fraud and coercion and identify real-life examplesIdentify and dispel myths associated with human traffickingKnow how to access local and national resourcesIdentify warning signs and vulnerable populationsRegistration for this event is offered at no cost and a complimentary lunch will be served at Herzing’s Madison campus. About the Speaker: Krystal Chase has been with The Women’s Center (TWC) for 10 years. Currently, her role is Director of Advocacy & Support Services. She began her time at TWC as the Employment and Life Skills Counselor before moving into the Advocacy Manager and then her current role. Krystal has experience working with dually diagnosed children, teens and adults in a variety of supportive capacities. She holds a Master of Science in Community Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science/Psychology both from Mount Mary University.
