It’s that time of year again! Keep Pinellas Beautiful will be hosting the 2023 Great American Cleanup, the nation’s largest community improvement program, in partnership with Keep America Beautiful, Pinellas County, and Seagram's Escapes from March 1st – June 30th. This Keep America Beautiful signature event engages over 7,000 volunteers, removing litter and beautifying locations throughout Pinellas County. Join Keep Pinellas Beautiful and Odd Sox on Tuesday, April 4th for a rewarding morning of community improvement to kick off Earth Month! At Odd Sox, we're more than just a sock company - our mission is to cultivate a more compassionate and inclusive society. We value giving back to our community and our planet. That's why we're proud to partner with Keep Pinellas Beautiful to clean up Indian Rocks beach. Our 'Be You, Be Odd' slogan and unique sock designs celebrate individuality, while our commitment to charitable activities and social media presence showcase our playful and socially conscious personality. After we clean up the beach, we're hosting a "Take it or Risk it" trivia game, and we want all you self-proclaimed trivia geniuses to join us. The stakes are high, with cash prizes up for grabs. So come join us and make a difference - let's be ODD and make the world a better place! *** WHERE TO MEET: Indian Rocks Beach Access- 1700 Gulf Blvd, Indian Rocks Beach, FL 33785 WHEN: Cleanup begins at 9:00 AM. Please arrive a few minutes early to sign in. WHAT TO WEAR: Volunteers should wear closed toe shoes, sun protection and weather appropriate clothing. WHAT TO EXPECT: Cleanup supplies will be provided including gloves, trash bags, pickers, sunscreen, bug spray, and hand sanitizer. A water refill station will be available, please bring a reusable water bottle. Volunteers will receive a free KPB t-shirt for participating! PARKING: Parking is available in the lot onsite. Volunteers will need to pay for parking at this site.
