Instructor: Hannah West Nevada Registry Approved:  2.0 Hours CKA:  Human Growth & Development MITM training will provide opportunities for adults to examine child development research and themselves to create strategic actions they can take to promote executive function-based skills in children ages 0-8. Training Objectives: 1. Understand that the Life Skill of Communicating calls on Executive Functions and involves self-control. 2. Recognize the ways in which infants are born primed to communicate. 3. Understand there are various ways to communicate beyond speech and written communication. Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
