Feliciano Vivanco Y Asociados in the highlands of Jalisco are fourth-generation agave growers and producers of the highest quality tequilas which have earned them many international awards for their quality and consistency. In Tequila Honor, we look for an honest and authentic production process. We make sure that the essence of tequila remains at the forefront while understanding consumers’ evolving taste and celebrating innovation within the category. With the Vivanco family as partners, we will have full control from the agave to the bottle. Our tequilas will be handcrafted utilizing our own agaves. Carefully matured 100% Blue Agave will be cooked utilizing the traditional clay oven process. Later, the agua miel will be fermented utilizing our own special yeast in order to go through a slow fermentation to ensure complex and unique aromas and flavors as this will be the fingerprint of our profile. Distillation will take place utilizing small copper pot stills to further allow for complexity to come through. The aged tequilas will later be rested on small 200-liter white American oak barrels for further complexity. The quest for authenticity, artisanal value, and providence are key in creating a quality Tequila. Let’s just say that the Vivanco family goes well beyond expectations. It represents the struggle we all live, and the balance that we pursue day after day. Flavor & Aroma: The first sip immediately transports you to the aromas and flavors of agave; as we let the air in, it opens up with hints of mint, thyme, vanilla, citrus, and jasmine. It is a mild tequila with a long finish that leaves a slightly spicy taste which invites you to taste again. A tequila with a very honest nose, delivering what it promises. REDENCIÓN (REPOSADO CLARO) Who is Redencion: You know who you are, what you like, and who to spend exclusive moments with. You live every moment with confidence and conviction. You fully enjoy life, without haste, without excuses - with freedom and clarity. Flavor & Aroma: This taste provides a refreshing sensation with immediate aromas of oak, honey, and cocoa. It also has a clean honest nose, and from the first sip you’ll notice characteristics of dried fruits such as red currants. It invites you to take another sip and appreciate its balance between the fragrance of flowers, coffee, chocolate, and a hint of white pepper; a combination of sweet and spice. AFILADO (REPOSADO) Who is Afilado: You have a passionate personality and yearn to live each experience at the edge with emotions to the maximum. A side that represents living the darker and more adventurous side of things. Flavor & Aroma: It has full flavor with tones of jasmine that are enriched with notes of oak, chocolate and cocoa. It also offers a light touch of vanilla, and honey. It is slightly peppery, smooth, embodies a different degree of sweetness, and harnesses a long finish. This flavor also has an open and honest nose, showing us various aromatic notes from fruit to cocoa to vanilla. Flavor & Aroma: After three years of preparation, tasting and fine tuning by Kate and her team, The Limited Edition Tequila Honor del Castillo Afirmacion is a unique and very special and Añejo blend. The first Limited Edition batch was aged with a blend of 15 different white American oak barrels with an average age of 15 to 18 months. At sight it delights us with a natural yellow wheat color with dark soft tones. Its nose is clean, slightly opening its sweet notes and dry aromatic chocolate, cinnamon and vanilla. Per its medium toasted barrels, it also invites flavors of cooked agave, leaving residual soft tones of coffee.
