Description

This year PasadenaCSC is hosting a bike ride every month, on the second Saturday. Saturday, April 8th: Join us for a social ride to check out seven of Pasadena's most beautiful front yards--featuring native California plants. One lucky rider will go home with a ticket to the Theodore Payne Foundation's Native Plant Garden Tour, April 15-16. The route is an approximately 12 mile loop that starts in Pasadena, mostly along calmer residential streets. The ride includes a couple of gentle climbs, for a total of about 500 feet of elevation gain. Please note you MUST sign a waiver when you arrive. Helmets are a good idea for everyone, and required for all riders under 18. No training wheels permitted. Children riding on their own should remain with parents at all times, have experience riding with a group, and be able to average 12 mph. Younger children and/or pets are welcome so long as they are riding safely in a trailer, on a family cargo bike, etc. EVENT INFO Date: Saturday, April 8, 2023Meet: 10:00 am Roll: 10:30am Return to start (approximate): 1:30 pmStart/End: Playhouse Village Park (701 Union St, Pasadena 91103) Route: 12 miles with 505 feet of elevation gainGetting There: Bike: You are encouraged to bike to the start of the ride!Public Transit: Metro L / Gold Line to Lake Ave Station; Foothill Transit and Metro Buses and Pasadena TransitParking: Paid parking is available at the park.**INCLEMENT WEATHER CANCELS.
