Childbirth Preparation Class is offered numerous times throughout the year for moms and their partners. Participants are encouraged to start the four-week series near their 30th week of pregnancy, and then be sure to attend all four of the two-hour classes.
The class will provide helpful information as you prepare for the arrival of your baby. Topics include discomforts of late pregnancy, labor, birth and what to expect the first few days after birth. The stages of labor, when to go to the hospital, pain management options, and breathing and relaxation techniques will be covered as well as basic baby care.
This class combines a mix of lecture, presentation, and interactive teaching styles. Classes are taught by a Nationally Certified Childbirth Educator.
Registration is required. PLEASE NOTE: If the class you registered for does not meet the minimum size (4 couples), you will be contacted to reschedule.
