Ever wondered what life was like in ancient Rome?Adults and children of all ages will join Roman Family Groups to tour Rome during this special, two-day family retreat. Your Roman Family will explore the marketplace multiple times during the weekend, where they will learn about Roman architecture, seal their own scrolls, play games, make toys and other crafts, and try different Roman snacks. You might mingle with Roman athletes, clear a path for important Roman senators, or watch Roman guards on patrol. Meanwhile, the apostle Paul is under house arrest in Rome and he needs you to help him deliver messages of encouragement to his friends, the Christians who meet in secret to share the stories of Jesus. Whether you're off to the mock chariot races, trying on a toga, or tiptoeing into a dark cave, Family Weekend in Rome is going to bring the Bible to life in a way your family has never seen it before!
