Description

This disparity is rooted in systems of oppression and injustice, and persists even when controlling for education, body mass index and socio-economic status. This eye-opening story of birthing while Black will educate, liberate, and inspire families to expect and advocate for better birth experiences; that will lead to reduced maternal and infant mortality rates in the Black community.
