Join the Bead Society of Southeastern Virginia in April and learn to make paper beads. You will meet other people who love to bead while making beads of many shapes and sizes. Paper beads can be combined with other beads to make beautiful and diverse finished jewelry. The class is free, but you will need to bring the following supplies: Paper - at least 11" longPencilRulerSkewer or toothpick (or round chopstick if you want a large hole bead)Glue - elmers or glue stickCoating - Diamond Glaze or ModPodge (gloss finish) or a liquid polycrylic finish
