Join us for a fun day of volunteering to celebrate Earth Month!
Planting Partner: Boulder Watershed Collective
Event Description:
The City of Lafayette is holding an Earth Day, Every Day event as part of their "Celebrating Earth Month" program, in which the Boulder Watershed Collective (BWC) is participating. BWC has partnered with the city and local high school students to develop an audio tour on their app called "Take a Hike," which educates visitors about important issues such as ecology, climate change, and water along the trail. BWC is also providing native species to visitors who pledge to take the action of planting, and volunteers will assist in leading groups through the outdoor classroom and distributing plants.
Meeting Point: Volunteers can meet at the Boulder Watershed Collective table behind the Bob Burger Recreation Center.
