Recognizing the need to promote area startups and spotlight the Sacramento region as a startup hub, the City of Elk Grove, in collaboration with StartupSac, launched Pitch Elk Grove in 2022. Back for its second year, Pitch Elk Grove will provide innovative, investable startups with the opportunity to showcase their companies in-person at a pitch event to take place Thursday, May 18, 2023 at the Center at District56 in Elk Grove. Up to eight of the region’s promising and innovative tech startups will take the stage and compete for $17,500 in prize money in front of a panel of judges and a live audience. Who will win the $10,000 prize?  Prize Money First Place: $10,000Second Place: $5,000Best Elk Grove Startup: $2,500Startup Founders: Applications are open through April 17, 2023 at 5:00 PM PDT. About Startup Elk Grove Incentive Program The Startup Elk Grove Incentive Program provides technical and financial assistance to launching and scaling startups, and for co-working and incubator facilities that support them. To qualify, startups must operate in Elk Grove and be an emerging or scaling company commercializing innovative products and platforms in most tech verticals.
